Default K&N Air Intake Install

Hey guys, I'm new here. I just got a K&N Air Intake obviously for a 2005 V6. Now I'm good with tools but it came with no instructions. Is there anyone who can help or point me in the direction of a site has some instructions.

Thanks,

it's pretty basic. You know where your air intake is right? you open up the hood and it's that big black box with that big curvy black tube coming from it...its located if you were looking down from the top of it, on the lower right hand corner of the engine bay. Now you follow that black tube to the motor. You take a ratchet or flat head and unscrew that clamp that clamps it onto the throttle body. Then, you will also notice that there is a black plastic hose that runs from that black tube, you will see a little green piece on this right near where it connects, you will unclamp that and it should pull off with a little effort. Then, your airbox, the big black thing, there is a bolt that goes into your fender that holds this piece down....if you try to pull it off you will see where i'm talking about. Now, you're going to take your K&N intake and clamp it onto the throttle body where that old black tube was. Then you're going to see a little tube coming off of your K&N. Well what's that for? It's for the vaccum line which is that piece of black plastic tubing that you pulled off earlier with the green clamp. Now go ahead and clamp that on your new K&N intake and make sure it's clamped. Once everything is secure and bolted up....go have fun!! also, i'm not sure if yours came with a heat shield, but if it did, most likely you use the old mount for your airbox. Pretty simple...ask back if i missed anything!
