well i know somebody is probably gonna disagree here, but if you don't want to be "harsh" on your car, don't try for 300whp...obviously the motors can handle it, but you run a much greater risk of something being broken, and if you are like me, a piston blowing= you are totally ****ed. If this is the case with you, i'll tell you getting a blower is a BAD IDEA. if you can afford to replace stuff if something major breaks (most likely won't, but the risk is greatly increased) then by all means go for it, but if you are in my situation it is just not worth the risk.

now the warnings aside, you should be able to see 300rwhp with vortech/paxton or procharger. turbo would do it even easier, but the procharger can do it at 8ish psi (maybe a bit more or less depending on tune) and i beleive the vortech should do the same, maybe at 9 psi as i don't think the vortech is as efficient.

I got 310RWHP on my '06 V6 with ProCharger 7psi and an SCT tuner - also a single axle back magnaflow. I'm not going to flog my 'Stang every time I take it out, so I'm not too worried about things breaking. Adjust accordingly.

Good luck.

7-8 psi on aprocharger will get you to 300rwhp or better. Gonna need the H.O. 10 psi vortech to do that.Vortech has been proven to be a bit more reliable though.

You have to be careful when calculating true cost... for instance, I am leaning to XCharger, mainly because I like the low RPM torque, and I know from the manual that I could install it myself with a little help from a buddy who is real good with cars. So I figure I pay him $200 for his help. No way am I going to do a Procharger myself, so I would have that installed by a shop, and most quotes I have gotten are around $1000 for the install.

So... I am $800 ahead on install cost, and will have the fun of doing it myself.

Thats true, its the easiest kit to install and you can bypass a shop on it. It has no pipes, bscottie and navbtcret installed thiers themself I believe.

well, i heard that our engines can push up to 400hp so i think i'm ok there. i was actually thinking about 10psi or 11 but since u guys are reaching 300 with only 8 i might rethink the psi i want. heres the kit i want.

[ul]Stage II Intercooled TUNER Kit with P-1SC[*]8-10 psi (optional 12+ psi pulley also available)[*]P-1SC, Custom 2-core spicific air-to-air intercooler[*]Our Tuner Kit ALSO Includes:
[ol][*]DiabloSport -or- SCT Programmer[*](6) Ford Racing 39-lb Fuel Injectors[*](6) NGK V-power Spark Plugs[*](1) Ford Racing Supercar 255 ltr. Fuel Pump[/ol][/ul]
now do i have to install the fuel pump? just curious. or can i leave everything stock and just put the s/c and spark plugs on? what difference would it make from the stock fuel pump and this fuel pump? same goes for the the injectors. im really wanna know
