Dineau,

I have the factory tips from Ford. I got them from a guy off of eBay for $51. These are the newer ones with the clamp not welded to the tip so you can rotate the nut and bolt assembly up under the bumper cover. I also cut the tips of the GT mufflers either 4", or 4.5" from the muffler body. That way I could expose as much, or as little tip as I want. I've settled on about 2" sticking out past the bumper cover. Oh, and here's a side pic.

Correction: I've got about an inch-and-a-half of exposed tip, not two inches.

Best thing to use IMHO is a rat tail file that is what I used on mine it takes longer but its worth it in the end
