alarm system and auto start

RE: alarm system and auto start
I was talking to a installer at ford andsaid the way he installs a autostart for a manuel is by arming the car befor you park and exit. Once you are in neutral and the e-brake is up, turn your key to the off position, hit the button on the remote and remove your key. The car is now ready for the auto start in the morning or whenever. He said there is no bypassing of the clutch
