Mine is with the fuel pump where it will only fill about a 1/4 of the way then stop. had it changed twice and it worked like for a few times then started again. Now i have figured out if i turn the nozzle upside down itll fill. I just look like an idiot in the process and cant just clamp the handle up and let it fill by itself. I think this is just a problem with 05s so if you get a 07 youll be fine

I doubt I'll be getting a new 07- with college, I'll bejust makingit with an 05/06 used(Ive got it worked out though, so it shouldnt be a problem). but it sounds like i can deal with the problem pretty easily.
Is there anything else that i should be looking for, or options to try to get in it? im getting at least the upgraded dash/wheel(just black is way to plain for me).

i have seen a lot of people post about the rpms spiking for no reason causing people to have to hold down the brake so as not to crash into anything.

Ive had problems with the dash rattle, infact still do. Ya the driveshaft is crap if u go into the 120's for a certain period of time (i would guess a couple minutes most)

when ur pumping upside down dont try and clamp it all the way back cuz it wont. go to the first clamp and put the clamp on and it will fill by itself just fine. I am a pro at doing this now lol I have had mine since dec 04 and have always had the gas tank problem. like u said just annoying and ppl do look at me weird when I start pumping gas upside down lol. just dont let the pump go cuz it will fall over haha.

If you have warranty they will replace the gas tank for free since its a tsb on it, only downside to it is it took them half a day to do it lol.

what causes the dash rattles?
The noise isfrom the dash rubbing against the A-pillars.You could stuff some felt down in between the dash and A-pillar to fix theproblem.OR other cause of the problem is that the pillar support is not poped in all the way so it rubs against the dash.Others claimed that the dashboard noise caused by a loose exhaust isolator. Most of the complaints come when the weather gets cooler. Plus our dash has tons of plastic on plastic contact.

Here is a list of problems I've had with my car.

- Hard shifting, especially 2nd and 3rd.
-- Ford won't touch it because of my "modifications"
- Fuel tank filling problem
-- Ford replaced fill neck, no problems since (TSB)
- Front end "popping" during slow turns
-- Ford fixed it, doesn't happen anymore (TSB)
- Skipper1000 (TSB)
-- Ford replaced it once. No luck. It skipped until the day I replaced it with a Pioneer Bluetooth unit (TSB)
- Trunk would turn on "door ajar" unless slammed shut
-- Ford adjusted the trigger twice. The second time they got it right.
- Driver's side top seat release broken
-- Ford fixed
- Driver's side rear sail panel leaked
-- Ford replaced seal
- E-brake froze up (just last week!)
-- Ford replaced (TSB)

I'm sure there's more... that's all I can think of for now. My car was built in January of 2005. I'm pretty sure I got the brunt of the problems.
