Default Air intake and thoughts...

Okay I am sure you all are tired of seeing the new guys asking " hey guys I am new, so whats the best products"??? So rather than asking that, I' ll ask this, I have been looking in the market for a new air intake system. So far, I have been thinking about K&N, Steeda, and maybe roush. Only reason, just was talking to some guys at the dealership and those were the names I heard. I am looking to get the best gains, gas, and also keep some cash for other things. I am looking at getting the polished intake for one it looks good under the hood and well I plan to keep my car for a loooonnnggg time. Also, I wanted to get a tuner to change some performance settings in my car, Ie. gas mileage, hp, shifting points and other things that they let you do. I have about 600 bucks to play with. I was also looking at getting a gt take off rear end and doing dual exhaust. I would like to have again a nice sound and also good performance. Flowmasters seem to have been taken off the list of exhaust so I am up for some options. Thanks..

Try and look at a tuner/cai combo. The tuner will wake up your car, especially if its an auto.

c&l xcal2 combo is the best bet.

as far as duals, many people like the jba true duals, but that will be over a grand by the time you are done. w/o a tune intakes are not great, and with the tuner any intake will run you over 500.
