well...basically the title says it all....we both have automatics..i have a 2005 v6 convertible mustang with tune by evo running 93 octane tune......versus a cobalt ss not supercharged with GM intake

What are you trying to ask? If you could beat it? I think you would be able to if the Cobalt isn't supercharged and only has an intake... The Cobalt SS' stock with a S/C are mid 14 second cars I think and you can get that with dual exhaust and a good tune (fitbikenick ran a 14.55 with bolt on's and a good 93 octain tune I believe)

yea sorry i forgot to mention i have dual exhaust too and his cobalt is an ss but it does not have the supercharger

Yeah man I was using the S/C one as an example to prove that even with the S/C they're not THAT fast. So if it doesn't have a S/C then you should take it pretty easily.

co-sign...not to knock the Cobalt but the SS stock shouldn't really be much of a challenge...I saw an Accord coupe beat one the other day...

Yeah... The Cobalt SS isn't a bad car, I almost got onebut I think they would have been smarter putting a turbo on it... Anyways... was it a V6 Accord? Because I wouldn't really be surprised.

Yea they were ahead of me at a light down a str8-away in broad day light...I was gonna join in but then I remembered the points on my license...but I think it was a 05'-06'...i think they get about 240 hp at the crank but I read that tappers off way more than us once it gets to the wheels in terms of rwhp...either way the Cobalt got beat handily...again not to knock it...but I figure it wouldn't be much competition even with an intake...

I think the S/C ones are only like 205 at the front wheel or wheels.
