Default C&L Cold air kit

Hi,

I will be selling a one year old C&L cold air kit for a 2005-2007 Mustang with the 4.0L-V6 engine. I will clean or include the materials to clean the air filter with the selling price. These sell new for $299 without a tuner. I am keeping my Xcal2, and just selling the cold air kit. The only reason I'm selling it is becasue I bought the Vortech supercharger kit this week, and it comes with a different cold air kit. I am going to put it on Ebay next week for $175, so if anyone is interested please email me before then.

Thanks!

Would buy it but seems too high of a price for 1 years worth of use. If you had it at like the low to mid hundreds that would peak my interest but otherwise i would just buy it new.

Why would the useage matter on something like this?
As long as it is in good shape and the filter and couplings are in good shape, there is nothing that wears out.
Nothing has changed as far as design since it was introduced.
You are almost getting half off the price for something that is only a year old.
That is not to bad of a deal IMO.

Ive also seen them for $250 brand new but even at $280 how is $175 half off? I would say $125-140 would be reasonable and yes the usage does matter like most otherthings it doesnt retain the value you paid for it. Condition, use, period of time been on, proper maintenance all matter for what its worth. And sure some people may differ on what they thing the value should be. If it was only a couple months old i could see it selling for $175 but after that long i wouldnt pay it.

Guys,
I'm confused. Was he asking for your opinion on the price? You guys must have thought he was. If you don't like the price then simply ignore the thread. Do you send Ford emails about the Mustang being too expensive and tell them what you think their car is worth?

Ok its just advice about the price maybe he could get it sold faster....not to argue but if you dont like it what makes you feel the need to add 2 more cents to the conversation?
