Default What to do with $1000

I just found out that im going to be receiving a deent tax return. What to do with a specified amount of cash? Im gonna take 1000 out of my return and drop it into my car.
What should i go for. Im thinking maybe a gear set and T-Lok or TrueTrac(whats the difference?)
Any suggestions? No nitrous and please keep in mind my current mods

THANX

A shaker would look sick on your car hidden in those stripes there.

yeh if thats too extreme, an lsd and the gears would be a good choice. I dont know too much specifics on those but our drivetrain needs improvement

also if you haven anything left over you could get a hurst (you may have an auto...dont know)

hope this helps

I'm gonna say get new gears and a lsd..........and maybe
some other goodies. Or you could put it away and save up
for a supercharger/turbo/x? I suppose its up to you. Or maybe
new rims and tires! I would say a hurst shifter but judging by your
avatar I am going to assume you are an auto tranny as well because
your brake lights are on while doing a burnout a.k.a brake stand.
I suppose all of it is dependent upon what direction you are wanting
to take the stang.

Instead of getting new gears and lsd just buy a new take off 8.8 rear end with 3.55's in it.

does the 8.8 bolt right up? Or do i need to fabricate something? I appreciate all the input. Im not looking at saving for F/I do to the fact that i might be selling my bike for enough to buy it outright. lol Also whats the point of going to the 8.8? Im geussing they can hold more power and torque.

Yeah its a direct swap, and I think you can use the V6 driveshaft just have to get a different connector piece forgot what its called, LOL! But if I were you I would get a new driveshaft while your working in that area anyway.

ADDED: Yeah its stronger than the 7.5, comes with an LSD and if you get the one with the 3.55's your gettinga nice gear ratio.
