Turbonator??
Ok, I have seen the ads in car and driver and all the car magazines about the 35 hp you can gain w/ this thing and I have read how it works but is this thing legitimate? Does anyone on here have one installed?

It would restrict airflow. It's a POS.
Not to mention you dont want one of those sharp metal fins in your intake...

RE: Turbonator??
smthomas, electric superchargers are POS's as well. I had the same question actually when I first joined the forum; I knew the eBay ones were junk, but I was curious if the idea of an electric supercharger would work if engineered by a reputable company such as Vortech or ATI. The fact relayed to me was that it would take a ton of electricity to spin the supercharger, so it's not practical.
