Firewall hole in a 2006 mustang
Hi everyone!
I bought my mustang back in June of 06. Im getting the "mod bug" as some like to call it...I am starting to do some sound system upgrades before I touch the engine and exhaust system. I already put in an Alpine headunit and some new 3way rear speakers. Now I am looking to install a Sub along with an amp. My question is:
Where is there an existing hole in the firewall I can use to route the power cable from the battery to the amp?
I searched the forums for a while and couldn't really find anything.
I'd rather not drill a hole if one is already there.
Please be very descriptive.
Thanks alot !

I found a hole on the passenger side. It is hard to see from the hood side but is behind the battery. Go to the inside of the car and look you will see a rubber boot already there. I was able to fish a 1/0 power cable through it. Works perfect because it comes out right next to the battery.
