Default Exhaust > Single to Dual

hey i'm new to the boards and i just had a few questions about the exhaust conversion..

i'm not too fond of how the GT bumper looks on the base so I was just gonna have the cut made to my bumper. Are there any down sides to this?
As for the exhausts, I was going to go with the GT Take-offs, but I was wondering how close to the original sound would be put out with that? And also, in addition to the Take-offs, is there anything else I would need?

THANKS!!!

hey! welcome to the forums.
The gt takeoffs are a good choice and are a one made by many members. You will need to have an h-pipe fabbed up to get the duals to work. Many people also cut the bumpers no problem. You could instead go to ninosport.com and get the dual exhaust conversion kit which allows no custom fabrication to be done, but merely a DIY install that should take under 3 hours to do.

i dont know those prices so im not sure what thats gonna cost you, but i can tell you that i bought a magnaflow kit for the V6 off of ebay ... made a best offer and got the kit for $395 shipped Brand New.

got a quote today on install and the guy said $125

so im going to end up paying $520 for magnaflow duals that i dont even have to install myself.

Ooo and pm me if your looking for Gt takeoffs and havent bought them yet i have a pair in great shape car had under 200 miles on it when they were pulled off

thanks

I was recently looking into the ninosport conversion kit and it marked on the sight that the item is on back order. I called to check into it and they told me that it was going to be a couple of weeks untill the part is in stock because they are working on having it made by another company or something or another. So if you do order it plan on waiting a few weeks to get it in.
