ORIGINAL: rygenstormlocke

Buckman is an auto, a better comparission would be Excepcion13. He has a PH turbo at 9.5lbs of boost. He was the second PH install.
Rygen I was using Buckmans because his is an auto and bscotti's is an auto for a comparison (auto to auto)but you know what I forgot about E-13 with his manual so I used fazm data.

The comparison in my first post is just to look at parasite lossif you look at the numbers/ datataking into consideration the turbo is more efficient & very lowparasite loss compared to s/c’s per gas driven and looking at the numbers above the parasite HP loss does not look to be high on the MP90 for a supercharger as stated by the quote from the MP website.

You know I am not sure if I am clearhow I am trying to explain to look at the data and analyze it aboveand draw a comparison, you guys know what I am trying to point out in the data and how to look at it to figure out the parasite loss to get roughly an ideal?

im not sure if the headers will help the x like it did with the turbo.

cats will make a difference for sure

but water/meth injection helps a lot, cooler IAT's then the intercooled turbo. so its still not exactly comparing apples to apples

its really hard to compare the two.... wait until someone gets a nonintercooled turbo setup at 6/7psi and compare that to the xcharger, numbers might be very close

I am on a very conservative tune at this point in time. The 309rwhp/355rwtq is also on a Mustang Dyno, so add 10% to those to get Dynojet numbers. I still need to add the JBA shorty headers to tweak the numbers a bit. I won't add any more hp until I can get to the point where I build the motor up, then I will turn up the hp/tq.

Ok guys I am not comparing the turbo to the X Charger on gross rwhp , the turbo is more efficient (and makes more power) so I am looking with this in mind at the turbo’s numbers gross rwhp and comparing to the X now with the turbo being more efficient and looking at the numbers the X numbers indicate low parasite HP loss to me as the MP website states.

This is the only thing I am looking at and comparing and drawing my conclusion on these two systems in this thread.

Some of the post I read sound like some you guys think I am comparing rwhp vs rwhp that not it I am using the data to look at parasite loss.

So to me I have agree with the MP quote that the MP90 exhibts low loss.
