Tuner for a v6 Manual
So Ive been reading up on the tuners offered by the many tuners. How much would I really notice the difference with the tuner, and without being a manual v6? It seems it really helps automatics, but not so much manuals. I live in CA, and I use the stang as a daily driver, so I wouldnt use anything but 87 octane fuel. Would it be worth it to get the tuner + CAI combo? Any comments?

Worth it? YES! It will help your manual tranny stang a lot. Im running the 93 with mine but the 87 has good kick too. It will cut down on the time it takes the engine to rev from 2000-4000rpms with or without load, and it will put you in your seat harder when you punch it. Over alla tune just makes the car run smoother IMO.

Yea it makes a good diff. I was suprised the day after when I got my car tunned. YOu notice it more as the week gos on or atleast I did. I didn't notice much right off the start but as I drove it more with the tune I was like " oh yea, that was little different than before! "

I loved my tunes. It's one of the best mods you can do, whether you have a CAI or not. I was all smiles and grins when I first loaded my tunes. You'll want to drive everywhere (like you do already I'm sure). If you ever go FI or get gears or increase rim size, it comes in handy for adjusting the computer too. Also can give you DTC when your check engine light comes on. Very very good thing to get!!!!
