Hey guys!

The past fews days I've been thinking about things I want to put on my car but I'm not sure what to go with. So I'll list some things and if you could give your opinion on what's best. And feel free to explain or make suggestions. I wanna do my pony right, thanks!

Hurst Short Throw or Steeda Short Throw?
-I want to keep the original boot & **** if possible for stock look

4.10 or 3.73 gears?
-Not sure what's best for a V6 but I'm looking for strength and performance

Plus, this weekend I got new widertires in the rear (17/9"). The front tires are still (17/8").
-I haven't noticed a change in drive and handling but they sure look good. Any opinions on this?

hurst... seems like the standard for our car...its on the shelby gts

3.73's...unless you want ur gas mileage to go way down with the 4.10s

well the width of the rim still isnt as large...it may be handling better but theres no way to guage it

Personally I would go for a tune and intake plus the gears. I have 3:73's and get 20mpg city. I don't do much highway driving so I plan on switching to 4:10 sometime this summer. I can't see under the back of your car so I can't tell about the tires, but i'm sure they look great.

you will need a tuner if you change your gears anyway

I would go with a tune and the gears also. Nothing wakes up a car like gears do.

I got the intake, I'm just waiting to get a tuner to complete the install. So gears would be the next step.

Hurst is a Mustang choice...can I put my current shift **** (GT) on it instead?

I commute 60 miles a day so 3.73s are sounding more ideal.

I've been meaning to get a new picture with my tires. It's not too obvious but you can definitely tell they are wider...makes the back look heftier

I was able to use the stock **** on my B&M shifter. I have about the same commute and its not all that bad with the 4.10's. Not sure How hi the rpms would be for a 4.0 liter.

you will probably need to use the stock stick instead of the chrome hurst one which is taller and may have different threads

I went with the Steeda and have no regrets and I am sure you can use the stock shift ****....at least you can on the V-8. I too would go with 3.73 as you do drive a great distance to work. I love the differnt size tires and a pic of yours would be nice ..... later J

i would go with the hurst and i hear saleen is making one as well..but hurst has been making shifters for like million years......hurst.....plus they use em on shelbys....so its kinda should be that way..... a little shelby flavor on the v6 if you will.....
