I believe there is a TSB out on that problem.
If your car has been sitting for a while, could be bugs in the fuel filler tube.
Or perhaps the fuel fill nozzle you are using has gone bad?

Turn the nozzle upside down and it will work okay.

Believe me, it's not bugs! There is a Technical service bulletin out on our cars. They have a defective gas tank that does not fill properly. I just had mine replaced for the same thing. I called the dealership, they ordered the tank and put it in. Also, they never charged me a dime.

I think it might cost at leastlike $150 or something if you don't have the warranty to cover it. In that case, I wouldn't bother replacing it because it still doesn't fix it. I had mine replaced immediately after I got the car a year ago and it still does it. Just turn it upside down and it will fill.

yea i know about the turning upside down. I have had mine for over two years now and it has done it since the first fill up. pretty annoying though.
