Just got gt mufflers and rear bumper and wanted to know what would sound the deepest a x or h pipe. We don't want it loud just the look and maybe a little deeper. Thanks

well if you want loud and a good sound than go with h. if you want more performance and still a nice sound than go with x. either way you will be just as happy.

So X is not as loud as a H pipe? I would like to get some deep sound but not the higher pitched noise.

H is deeper and X is more raspy! I prefere H

An H-pipe will give you a low tone, and the H-pipe sounds best with a chambered muffler.

An X-pipe will flow better than an H-pipe, but give a more raspy tone. The X-pipe sounds best with a straight-through muffler.

If you plan on just doing duals and a few show and go mods like a cai/tune and gears and thats it then I would go H

but....if you plan on FI (forced induction, for some reason some people still ask if I mean formula one???) then I would go with an X for better flow.

overall, i dont know what you will be doing with your car, but for my taste I would go with an H pipe

Sounds like the H wins. The car is my wifes so all we will do is a tuner and cai with the exhaust mods. Thanks for all the help.
