Default Charger "hi-po" v6

has anyone run against a high output 3.5L charger? I ran one the other day and actually had a slight edge on him. i thought they had around 260hp?

i am not sure what they have but they are also alot heavier and are all autos.

well, he was saying he was sitting at about 3500lbs or so, with a sport-tronic style shifter.
I'm running a 5-speed with a gt-takeoff

Are you running any mods DelStang86?
Automatic or manual?
If the charger had 260 CHP, the race should have been in his favor.
Did you guys start off the line?
Was it a rolling start?
Was he just messin with you?
The Charger is also heavier than our stangs I bet.
I have mods and Iguess I'd keep up pretty good if not walk away from one.
I wish that Dodge would get friggin real and retro the Charger back to the late 60's!
That would be schueet!
The currentHemi's are just boxes with lots of torque IMO. Not worth the money they want for sure!

we ran from a dead stop and from 50 up and i pulled on him both times. he wasn't playing around, because he couldn't figure out how i was beating him.

Just looked up the Dodge V6 box.

3.5 liter is 250 HP.
At3500 lbs,you should ofwalked it.

I know I'll blow the doors off that box for sure now.

yep chargers are definetely pigs. Mildy modded gts can take town srt8s. I love the way they look for a 4 door though

Yah, a 4 door friggin Dodge Charger! Friggin family car!
The original 60's and early 70'schargers were true ars haulin stang spankin coupes!
Dodge sure blew it big time with their new 4 door boxes!
