How much to put on dual exhaust system?
 

I ordered the Pypes dual exhaust system, should be here this Friday. Instead of trying to put it on myself with jacking the car up, I was thinking about just taking it to an exhaust shop. Has anyone done it this way so I can get an estimate of how much they will charge for the install??

The local shop here in Indiana charged me $100 total for everything including labor.

I brought my own parts in. The shop charged me about $85. to install it and weld it up.

I called a few places and most of them said they wouldnt install an exhaust that you didnt buy from them. I called Meineke and they said they dont make a habit of doing it but they would. They said anywhere between $60-$100.

Check around. I know here there is a guy who owns a shop and told me if I ever wanted to use his lifts, I could for free.

labor for that kind of job is around the $100 mark.

Next question, the Pypes system is a bolt on system, did anyone have them weld any parts of it instead of using the clamps? and why?

got mine done for $100 and is it a catback system? I am pretty sure even though it is a bolt on it will still have to be welded. Shouldn't cost more than $100, if they charge you more than $100 you will be getting anal raped lol

+1... I got anal raped for the install. They charged me $150. It's so easy you can do it yourself but I couldn't get the stock midpipe out from underneath the car. I couldn't believe it when they charged me $150 for 25 minutes of work.
