Again, you can not use those tunes...... the tunes work for a specificECM serial....... If you want to use the XCAL-2 tuner for anything more than manually tuning parameters yourself, or reading and clearingtrouble codes you need to buy tunes......

this is a very unclear issue I see, so I think I know what I am going to do. Spend the extra $200 and get a JLT and Xcal2 and then I will know for sure that it will work. And I meant from B_A_M_A not brenspeed

hes buying it from a gt those tunes will work. its not form a 6 to a gt because the intake is the for a gt so is the tuner. they will work. you can reuse programmers for same model serial ecm. so 2 s197 gts can use a tuner jsut not at the same time. if i installed it on my car then removed it you can out it on a different car. the stock tunes that come on the programmer which are just the 3 octane leves can be reused i ahve done it before with my old programmers i ahve givin them to friends. and they just used my tunes.

Do yourself a favor..... Call Doug at B_A_M_A and get it straight with him, that way you know for sure, $200 savings is $200 towards the next Mod.....
