Default GT take off suspension on a V6?

Does anyone have the take off suspension, (shocks, struts, springs), from a Gt on your V6? If so, does it make a big difference? I have the Pony Package so I already have the roll bars. Can you feel the car hold the road better with the GT suspension? The GT suspension package is $180 at NewTakeOff.

Thanks

im no suspention expert but if ur gonna upgrade your suspention i wouldnt get all the GT stuff. those parts are made for a heavier car so it might be alot stiffer then you really want. if you want something thats relativly cheap Ford racing makes a kit that has all that and i think its like 500, which isnt too bad but suspention is one of those things where its pretty costly to notice a difference.

UPR and Steeda make a quality suspension. I have UPR lower control arms and a set of Bilstein shocks. Also the Sway Bar eliminator is on the way, it saves about 15 pounds of weight. And I have their rearpanhard bar

I just sent you an E-mail about buying your GT take off suspension.

Don't waste your time or money the V6, due to weight already handles better than a GT. If you lower the car it will be unbelievable. If you must buy part spend the money and get the aftermarket parts....

The rear sway bar is the only thing that will be an upgrade

i agree with mays. Dave from explorer express has raceed road courses for years and has a 05 GT and just got a 07 v6 to use for geting the carb cert for the x. he was telling me the other day how much he liked the handeling of the 6 more than the GT. he is aslo going to be a instructor at an upcoming road course event in northern california.

After all the negative comments on this idea I have decided not to swap for the GT suspension. It seems it would not be much of an upgrade from the Pony package suspension. Thanks for the offer anyway.
