RE: Whats with these?
That kit looks pretty good.
A bit pricey being unpainted though and it looks like plastic or fiberglass.
Should be more like $350.00 for the kit.
Probably costsless than 100 bucks to manufacture.
Certainly not worth $695 IMO.
V6 Mustang Stuff is a good seller.
I can't say much for the people that drop ship their take off parts.
V6 is in TX. and their take off drop shipper is or wasin IN when I purchased my GT rear bumper coverin lateearlyDec.of last year. First cover looked like 'take off, throw on floor, drag scratch up then ship'.
V6MS was very good about handling the situation I ran into withtheir drop shipperthough.
So they are good about servicing their customers.

Owner of V6MS was very quick to respond and do something about it. Replacement didn't cost me a penny extra and I had it in 3 days as I recall.

RE: Whats with these?
V6MS is a reputable sourcefrom my experience.
By the way, the hood scoop kit in question is made of injection molded fiberglass by Sun Coast Performance.
The price however, just way friggin too high as far as I am concerned! Way too high!
I'd say 350 to 375 bucks is all I'd be willing to pay for a ready to paintfiberglass scoop with hardware included.
$695 is way way out of line, especially being unpainted.
$870 painted? They must think people are really desparate. Geesh! Give me a break!
