I hear people slamming the Shaker 500 system all of the time. I have no problems with mine and to be honest, i like it. I think it has really good sound for a factory system. 2005 model by the way.

mines fine. maybe it's because black interior > tan interior?
I've got black

When the radio works right, I love it. When everytime the radio turns on, it starts from the beginning of the disc and I listen to the same songs over and over for a week because it isn't changing the disc, it sucks.

I had that problem right when i got my mustang but it just one day stopped and hasnt done it since, but I took it in to the dealership that i bought it at and they said there was a prob with the fuse, but i havent had any trouble lately so I havent had to take it back. And i didnt replace they didnt replace anything so idk what really was wrong with it!

WOW!

They really told you it was a fuse?! Crazy... I would have told that service person up..If it didn't power on, I would think it may be a fuse, but for the unit malfunctioning - no way..

Its definatly a nice system for right out of the factory.......for the first few months. i have an 05 too and mine just started screwin' around on me. it plays songs over, it skips like a motha****' and now im having that real muffled sound start to happen on occasion. it seems to happen on all the nice days when i want to play my music loud.

Have no problems with Shaker 500 in 2007 V6. Only thing is MP3 tags don't read properly, but folder structure and playback are perfect.
