i had that low bass problem but i shut the system off then restarted it or the car and it went away and worked fine. any issue ive had w/ the shaker or whatever hsa fixed it self, lol.... my new problem is that the black color on the buttons of the unit are flaking off... think thats covered?

nope its not. the same are happening to mine. i took it to the dealership while my car was still underwarrenty but they wouldnt replace it. they never do anything for free unless u put up a fight lol. those dicks.

Actually, no. I replaced the **** with the MGW ****. I highly recomend their stuff. I also have the A/C ***** and cupholder bezel. Very high quality. www.mgwltd.com

I hear people slamming the Shaker 500 system all of the time. I have no problems with mine and to be honest, i like it. I think it has really good sound for a factory system. 2005 model by the way.
