More Power = less mileage.......A stock V-6 will get better mileage than a car with a lot of performance mods

I think the problem is that some people are getting 200mpg which I always thought was impossible even for a hybrid. Call me crazy but i think im getting jipped...

Just checked mine, 25 MPG- 90% highway. Bone stock 5 speed stick- only 1200 miles. Going on a rode trip the end of this week,let you what I get when I get back.

Half & half city/higway I'm @ 22.4mpg average. Before the Magnaflow single & K&N filter I was @ 20.6mpg-21.2mpg.

If I set mine to cruise at 55 which feelsas fast asit does whenI'm jogging ;-), I'llget 28.9 to 30 MPG.
Around town taking it easy all the time which is really hard for me to do, I'llget16.5 to 18.5,,IF I take it real easy.

When foot's in it alot,,, fugetaboudit!
13 to 15 MPG if I am lucky.

i drive 85% freeway, but i'm always stuck in southern california traffic so i probably can do better if i didn't have to deal with traffic, so i average about 20.3 MPG, with an average speed of 34 MPH, and i roughly get 310 miles on my tank. when i'm on the freeway, i've ntoiced i get better mileage at 80 than 65. may just be me though. i have the my color thing on my mustang, so it tells me all of this stuff and how much gas i've used so when i go to the pump, i top it off to what my car says i've burned off. i'm a 5 speed btw. i rarely drive with the a/c, windows are always shut, and i dont use my heaters too often.

once, before i got my mustang, my dad and i rented an automatic v6 to go from san diego to vegas. about 340 miles, and we stopped on the the verge of vegas to top off the tank and we had a little less than 1/4 of the tank, with the a/c on, cruise control at about 65-70.

When i first got my car i averaged about 17 mpg and i drive my car pretty fricken hard. Now after i got my MRT intake ive been getting 18.5 mpg and i drive it just as hard if not harder cuz its springtime..also most of my driving is city..im on the highway for about an hour every month.

i do mostly city driving like 65-70% and the rest highway and i usually average between 19.5 - 20 MPG.... i did a trip to boston one time and averaged maybe around 23-24 MPG ive never done better... i dont know how anyone is getting over 30 MPG... thats beyond comprehension but o well
