Does anyone have any pictures of their pony package V6'er tri-bar pony emblems taken off? I'd like to see where the holes are in the metal ... or can anyone tell me exactly where they are behind the emblems? and how far apart the holes are? TIA!

There are no holes. They are held on by a tape adhesive.

as far as i know, THERE ARE HOLES otherwise the emblems wouldnt have two pins on each emblem.....but in my case, i bought the emblems and clipped and filed down the two plastic pins that are on the back of the emblems and just stuck the ponies on with the tape that was already attached.

From what i hear there are only holes if you buy the car with the pony package. otherwise there arnt. what i did was just look at my buddies car with the emblems already on, then i measured on mine and made sure they were the same on both sides. just like sancho i took a dremel tool and just grinded down the two pins. if you are doing this to your car, if u use a dremel tool, dont go to fast or you will melt the plastic!

the holes are for easy assembly plant install and yes there are holes on the GT and pony pack cars they already had the gt fenders so they just share the part number. so if you are thinking of removing them you will have holes. i myself had no emblems but got 03 one which are smaller and installed them.

yea....just clip the pins...they are easy to clip...

if its a factory installed pony emblem it has holes in fender just did it myself .
holes are diagonal on is right at ponys back and the other is below pony near small hoaf
if u decide to go w/ gt 500 emblem as i did ,the holes match perfectly
