RE: CAI DEAL
You get what you pay for. Sure it's cheap but was it really tested? I would stick to trusted brand names when it comes to something as important as your engine breathing.

RE: CAI DEAL
i asked the same question. most people said it was crap. i was really pulling for it though cause it looks sweet and is so cheap!

RE: CAI DEAL
Yeah, I was thinking about just for looks as it would really add that final touch to my engine bay. If only I knew a tuner that could adjust the air/fuel ratio so that it doesn't run too rich or too lean.

RE: CAI DEAL
ehhhhh i wouldnt trust it. products like that are just for looks. like nicksezz said definatly go with trusted brand names.

RE: CAI DEAL
ive bought one of those and just installed it..i see a really slight increase in power at high rpms..not too much better on gas..but it was only a hundred and looks great under the hood...but i didnt use that ****ty filter..i bought an after market one..which helped a little.

RE: CAI DEAL
looks much like an AEM. basically for looks, and the aem was tested to get 0rwhp gain
|
RE: CAI DEAL
ya wouldnt do it for gains, but prolly fine for looks especially if ur safe and get a new filter on it. that tube is the same diameter or even smaller than the stock tube, so ur not gonna get a whole bunch of air flowin through there, but it will be fine i would think...so for performance, absolutely not..for looks, sure
