So im lookin to get a tuner and a new intake system an Have been looking at the C&L "street" intake assembly kit for v6 mustangs. It comes with the C&L intake system and a predator tuner for around $650. Im just wondering if anyone has gotten this before and if it works well or if my money would be better spent on somthing diffrent, and If so what? Also if you have gotten it what type of rwhp increace am i looking at? Thanks for your help in advance.

my guess is 20-30 hp gain. most people here would swear by the xcal2 tuner though.

I don't know anything about the predator tuner, but I just got back from getting an SCT tuner anda C&Lintake, withtune installed on my car by Lidio at Alternative Auto in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Made a HUGE difference in the car. No throttle lag, and acceleration is amazing. Enough torque to chirp the tires on the automatic if the TCS is off.

Ya dont get a predator get the SCT Xcal 2. Go to Evolution Perf. you can get the C&L intake/SCT Tuner combo for $575 and they have great tunes, thats where i got my intake/tuner combo from and im way happy.

Gains i would say is around 25-30hp and 30-35tq, it made a big difference in the performance. At the track i went from running 15.9's-16.2's to 14.9's-15.1's
