I have zero experience with cars, and I did this last sunday, and it was pretty damn easy!!!

I used duplicolor red caliper SPRAY, alot of other guys use the caliper paint, but my autozone only had the spray, so I worked with it.

what I used was 1 can of red caliper paint spray, 4 prep duplicolor wipes (one for each caliper) 320 grit sand paper (sand down the caliper, every inch of it) 3M green paint tape (to mask off surrounding area)

also use old newspapers to cover EVERY inch of your wheel well, and fender, dont go cheap on the paper, you can never use too much, I also used playing cards to stick in the calipers, and used the tape also to prevent paint from hitting the pad.

if you get any paint on the rotors, just break hard a couple times and it will come right off.

any questions just ask.

Here's mine... really easy... just make sure you clean the caliper really well... otherwise the paint will come off. Takes a few hours.

They are just stickers.. and very easy to put on. Lots of colors to choose from. I have the pony and the mustang lettering in the front.. and just the mustang lettering on the back. Did put them on a few days after I painted them. When I painted them, I used a brush on paint, and had to use the jack to take off each tire. Paint one.. wait 15 min.. apply second coat... wait 10 minutes.. move on to next wheel. Great excuse to sit in the garage, listen to music.. and have a few beers.

Here is the link to the decals:

Here is another pic.. not the best.. but you get the idea. Looks much better in person.

How do you clean your calipers? I've been spraying them with wheel cleaner, and scrubbing best I can with a large sponge.

To clean them before you paint them, you should use brake parts cleaner.. it came with my G2 paint kit.. but can also be found at any auto parts store.

To clean them after you paint them.. I just wipe them with a microfiber towel when I clean the car.
