so i want the MRT exhaust and the C&L CAI and the xcal 2 tune. is there an order i should do it in? i've read on a few of the companies that sell the C&L to tell them the mods already done, so i just want to know which way i should spend my money first?

i went exhaust first, but im not going to be getting a tuner/intake combo. The intake/tuner combo will show better gains and improve performance quite a bit more. The exhaust is a great mod though, increases performance and fun factor because of sound. Totally up to you really.

i went with exhaust first since it does improve some performance without other mods and makes the car stand apart from the other stock 6ers on the road with the looks and sound. i had many people comment on my duals. they all seemed impressed and complimented the customization. a couple older dudes thought that it was some limited edition pony package which made me feel good about my mod. now if your only interest is performance, than go straight to the intake/tuner. but i will bet that if you do go intake/tuner first, you will be really craving the exhuast pretty soon afterwards. this is just my view though...your needs, your car, your choice. good luck.

Cai + tune. No question the best first mod! I did the exhaust first too and wished I would have done the tune much sooner!

EDIT-look in my garage pics...just get an intake/tuner kit and put one of those on! A tip with a few clams and a bend pipe...pretty much a home-made SLP loudmouth

when you change your air intake..specicially your Mass Air Flow Sensor Housing size (diameter) your computer thinks somethings wrong and throws a check engine light. Regarding an intake kit with one, it tells the computer different things and it makes the car run right with the intake hence pulling more air. thats a pretty general description for an air intake kit with a tuner. but the tuner can do alotta other stuff too
