Gt front swap while keeping Pony pkg lights?
Hey guys,
I already installed the GT rocker panels, and the GT rear end (I have dual exhaust).
Now the problem is that I want to do something with the front..
I have a torch red pony package (I really like the fog lights/grill that comes with it).
Is it possible to swap the front bumper to that of a GT, while still retaining the pony package fog lights? (I really don't care for the GT fog lights).
Any thoughts, opinions??? I know the fit is off, thats why Im asking - what would it take to make it fit (what pieces, adaptors, etc).
Thanks

you bring up a good point sandman, but the thing is, the only chin spoiler that I liked came from Fang performance ... and well the fact that its fiberglass... sucks - talk about chipping and cracking.
The CDC one is nice, and I definitely respect it, but its not exactly what i had in mind (its still nice though).
I haven't seen a body kit fascia that I really liked... and the shebly one doesn't look good without the grill + hood - at least IMO.
So really, I'm left with the GT front bumper.. which does have a nice design, and I could slap the CDC chin spoiler on that one.

Its your car and everything, so do what you want but why would you spend all the money on an X/H/Y-pipe, dual mufflers, a GT rear bumper, side skirts, front fascia, and hardware just to make it look like a GT, then when someone asks you have to explain its only a V6.
My advice to you, is trade in your V6, or sell it and buy a GT.
I can see getting the dual exhaust, rocker panels, and rear bumper because that really doesn't change the look to a GT style, but to put the whole GT appearance package on is a little crazy. If anything buy the CS6 front fascia, its lower to the ground keeps the lines with the GT side skirts and rear bumper, and you can keep the pony package grille, and have it look like a modified muscular V6, rather than a stock GT.
