Don't do it.

In my opinion.. based on what I have heard around here.. it is just not worth it. The only CAI you should put on your car is one that requires a tune.. for two reasons:

1. There is no real gain with a CAI that does not require one
2. A CAI that does not require a tune will most likely make your car run "lean" and could give you a few check engine lights.

I CAI and tuner is around $600. If you are serious about improving performance, it's well worth saving your pennies and buying a good tuner/CAI combo from a reputable tuner.


You are better off buying a GT Take-off muffler and installing that.. better sound.. and some extra HP.

mine doesnt. and you can definatly feel the diff. Tune is comin next month tho!

I installed a S&B CAI that did not require a tune and I did notice a difference in acceleration.
