Hey all,
Yeah the price was REALLY steep for this one. The sticker before the "add ons" was $28K. It was a premium convertible with quite a few options on it. The added Shelby wheels were like $2k !! I agreed for the price, a GT convertible would have been a better deal. That's why they haven't been able to sell it in 3 months! If they would ever lower it back to the $28K I would consider it. maybe it'll sit there long enough.

If it sits there long enough, maybe their heads will go back to straight and they'll have a more sensible asking price. I'd personally would buy a GT if I had $25K+ that I was willing to spend. I don't care who you are, a used V6 Vert like that should be no more than $25K!

This one isn't used. It's a brand new 07 premium convertible that the dealer did all of the upgrades to. It only had a few miles on it when I drove it. I guess if you figure in costs of parts and labor, it's not too bad, but I would get a GT vert for that price.

Even brand new, still overpriced. Especially, since the dealers get all the mods at major discount. So they are asking for more than you would pay if you bought (for example) a GT rear bumper. Crazy man! Hopefully, you can talk them down, find something similar for a better price, or get a GT

I got my 07 base model V6 for $17,999 with $315 payments. Swapped the 31.5mm stock front sway bar with a 34mm GT sway bar ($34 eBay) and added the GT 20mm bar to the rear ($22 eBay). The Pony has a 31.5mm bar up front and an 18mm bar in the rear. Ahead of the game on the Pony. Got an aftermarket V6 to GT grill ($164 eBay) and added the 6" factory GT fogs ($25 eBay). I even have it wired to a stock GT headlight switch. OEM. Again, ahead of the game on the Pony. Got 17 x 8" Original Ford Mustang bullitt wheels and Pirelli 235 55 17 zr tires - 0 miles -07 TPMSsensors included - take-offs ($500 eBay) and they look better than the stock 16" Hallibrand style wheels and tires. Again, more like the Pony. Did the V6 to GT muffler swap ($30 eBay). Its oh soooo sweet sounding.Better than a Pony again. Added a rear GT factory painted take-off spoiler ($50 eBay) .Looks like an 05-06 Pony. All for about $825. I was trying to keep the upgrades under $1000. Now what to do with the last $175? Any ideas? A short shifter was the next idea. They are about $175 eBay. Hmmmmm......[:-][/align]
