MPG for the PH Built Block w/Heads, Cams & Turbo
I went to visit family down in NC this weekend, and finally got around to getting an accurate reading on MPG (I don't trust the computer).
Now, keep in mind I'm running the PH built motor, with heads, turbo cams, turbo@13psi, 3.73 gears and a 28in tall tire. Also, my car is in a uniqe configuration, I'm running a very rare tune. I'm running a hybrid tune, a colabration between powerhouse and b-ama, where my power is all from Mike, but my shifts are Dougs race tune (which is bloody insane on the street, and tough for bumper to bumper traffic).
So, even with the insane shifting (and I did hit bumper to bumper for an hour between richmond and dc), I got the following: [ul][*]25.218579234972974/gallon[/ul]Wow, I'm very happy, that is better than my last mpg before the built motor. And I'm sure with the PH street tune, I can get my MPG up even higher.
Just thought I'd share, I'm quite pleased having an 11 second monster with 25/mpg. Hope this helps those of you doing built motors.
Cheers.
