Default Removing black plastic trim from beneath doors?

Hey all! Since I removed the black "MUSTANG" decals from the side of the car, the black plastic trim under the doors is really becoming an eyesore on my Satin Silver pony. Are these easy to remove, and has anyone done it?

Peace!
Scott

It will look pretty bad without them. You could have them painted, or buy GT-Take-offs that are already painted. I am assuming you are talking about the rocker panels.

I guess I should go to newtakeoff.com and order the GT set.

Peace!

take it off to see what it looks like... the others are probably right... but maybe you could have a shop round the body inward... it might look pretty decent and it could give you a bit more ground clearance

If you get GT rockers, the body lines will not match with your V6bumpers. Many here have them anyway, personal preference on the looks of it, but wanted to warn you.

you can get the whole GT body kit for dirt cheap on new takeoff might as well get the front and rear at the same time to match the body lines

I already have the GT rear end since I switched over to dual exhaust. I'm not going to switch the front, as I already have the exterior package w/foglights.

Peace!

I just replaced my black ones with GT Takeoffs last weekend. It is easy to do and you can find instructions in the forum to do it yourself. Sorry I do not have a recent pick yet but they look awesome. I got mine from V-6 Mustang Stuff.com from the GT Take off section. I had to clean one of the panelsup a bit but otherwise the take offs were fine.
