Hey guys,

I am looking to help my car out with a nice CAI/tune combo. I notice that the V6 autos are sluggish out of the hole and that the revs don't go as high as they should. I was looking at Brenspeed since they have a
nicely priced C&L/tune combo. I also have heard that Alternative Auto makes a good V6 auto tune. Which one should I look into getting?

well... the fastest bolt-on car here is an automatic running an Alternative Auto tune... and rmays just got a tune from Alternative Auto... hopefully he'll comment... but in the mean time... when it comes to automatics, i have to give the nod to Lidio at Alternative Auto...

John suggested Lidio at Alternative Auto to me as well and I couldn't believe the difference in the car. I went with a C&L intake and SCT Xcal2 from Lidio and had him do his 89 tune for me. Really woke up the car! No sluggishness or throttle lag, I can safely change lanes on the expressway now.
I went to the drag strip for the first time a couple of weeks back and first run hit a 14.84 for the 1/4 mile at 94+ mph. The tune didn't decrease my gas mileage at all (can't say it increased it, but maybe that's because I still have so much fun with the throttle now and tend to get on it more).

xcal 2 with tune and c&l from alternative auto is 669 plus about 25 bucks shipping... thats what i paid to have them ship it to las vegas..

I help doug from ba.. chips with the auto tune and its is perfect . you cant go wrong with his ,100% spot on.

Another vote for Doug's tune. I just installed mine yesterday...drives like a totally different car.

I just installed his 93 race tune.. Problem is.. every time I get a new tune.. it's raining outside! I'll sneak out tonight or tomorrow morning and hit the highway to see how it feels.
