Yet more V6 Mustang hate.....
So my wife and I went to the lake last weekend and decided to take my 05 Mustang. As we were coming back from our dock, I noticed 2 really nice vette's parked around my car. So I smiled nicely and they said "hi". As I was loading my car with stuff, the older guy said "Nice car". I said "thanks I like it. Those are 2 really nice Corvette's" The older guy was cool so we started talking about cars and stuff, then the younger guy (who had serious "little man syndrome") Asked is that the Shelby or just a GT (nice to know stripes=Shelby
). I said "no it's a 6". He rolled his eyes and said "oh well it still looks nice". Trying to be the bigger man I said " yeah well your vette is really nice" and he said "yeah it is, I walked around your car and was like, wow my vette is awesome". I could see my wife trying to sneak into the car as my face got red. I calmed down and said "yeah, wish I could afford a vette like that....if I could afford that... I'd buy a sweet @*** Shelby GT500. Have a good weekend guys" Guess I'm starting to mellow in my old age !!!!

lol if that was my ex she woulda walked up to me nd kissed me right in the middle of that to make the guys just stop talking hahaha. Don't worry bro...ur the one with the wife and they are two guys with vettes chillin at a lake....[&:]busted lol.

Don't let it get to you. I had a guy say to me recently, "It's just a V6....." I quickly replied, yeah it's just a V6, BUT this V6 has more horsepower than my '82 GT!"
The only reason I bought the V6 was to not be intimidated into a race every time I went for a drive, but I guess folks who don't know their Mustangs get us confused.
