i just recieved my tune from vmp tuning and i loaded the tune on the xcall2 and then i went to my car and tried to tune my car and it says wrong car


can anyone help me?? i used tacobills instructions to the tee

i didn't install my cai yet because the manual said dont use it without a tune, so i was gonna install the tune first, should i go ahead and install my JLT cai?

Did you check to see if you gave Justin the right code? See if you can get ahold of him, he's very helpful.

I maybe going down the wrong path here, but when I ordered my tune I had to specify the computer code on the car It is on the passenger side of the engine Mine was like DUR3

yeah thats mine and i told him that, but where does it say it on the new tune

I'm not sure where it'd be on that file, but as long as you told him. I'm not sure, maybe someone else can chime in.

hmm...i bought it used from some one on these boards name jaded_seconds but he said he unmarried it from his ecu

You need to download the software, plug in the Xcal2 into your computer and clear the car that is currently associated with.
Then you can hook it up to your own car.
I had the same issue when I bought my Xcal2 used.
