If you're interested here's a video clip of my Borla axel back. I love the way it sounds, it has very deep tones throughout the rpm spectrum.

Pretty much I went with the Borla because of their reputation plus from the few sound clips I had heard I had loved the sound. The Borla is very deep and smooth even through the higher rpms. I love it, and it has very little or no drone what so ever. Anyway that video was taken with less than 15mi on it, now that it has roughly 200 plus mi on it ill try to get another clip up as it has broken in some more and even sounds better.

im not trying to start an argument here and it really doesn't bother me at all that you don't personally like the aero-turbine's sound, you are entitled to your opinion, but i have yet to hear a muscle car sound out of a 4.0. The v6 is not a muscle car at all and i don't think of it as one. imo it is closer to a euro type sporty coupe than a muscle car anyway.
Well if don't think of the 6 as a muscle car Ford and others do. In fact our cars come stock with more muscle than older GT Mustangs and I'm sure you'd agree that a GT Mustang is considered a muscle car.
I don't know what your criteria is for a muscle car.
I did metion In my post that it's impossible to make our cars sound the same as V-8's but I think IMO that the GT take off does a great job in lowering the tone of the exhaust without accenting the fact that we have 2 less cyliders.
I haven't heard all the mufflers on the market so I can't comment on them all of them but I did have an MRT and to me (and many members of my local Mustang club with alot of Mustang history) sounded loud and ricey ( you may want to call it european tuning) not to mention the BAD drone at criuse speed.
Now I will mention again many of these ideas are ours and again if you like the sound you get from your car and are satisfied with it .... cool just know that there are many guys that have owned early mustangs that say "nice car too bad it sounds like that.

We (son & me) just installed the sinlge MAC AB exhaust on his Pony Package '07...reasonable price ($160), well-finished (the entire unit is polished), huge tip (4" instead of 3.5") and a deep rumble. Yesterdaywe added a C&L intake plus SCT2 tuning from Brenspeed & it sounds fantastic.
