Ordered up pioneer's AVIC-D3 w/ XM Sat Radio, XM NavTraffic, & iPod Adapter.
Also 2 of Elemental Designs SQ10 subwoofers and their NINe.2 amp.

then I ordered up the taillight trim pieces in Brushed Stainless,
the MRT hood struts, and the Pony Package grill.


when I recieve everything and put it all in, i'll wash her up and show you guys some pic's

Awesome man, can't wait to see it. I really want pioneers AVIC-D3, but I don't have enough money so I just bought the PIE Ipod adapter and it should be here tomorrow!! I can't wait to put it in. Oh, btw, let me know how the MRT hood struts are...

yea, i decided to get those hood struts because whenever i had the hood open
i kept hitting the prop rod, so I decided it was time for that to go.

You are going to love the D3! I'm *almost* tempted to trade my Avic-Z1 for the D3
I just finished installing one in my wife's Focus... wow, great piece of equipment!
Personally I haven't tried playing a CD while navigating (yet) but the iPod interface is AWESOME

for those it may concern, i just finished installing the MRT hood struts, it took me about 10min and a 10mm socket,
uses all factory bolts
and open the hood higher than the prop rod did
(that's a plus since i had a tendency to hit my head on the hood thinking i cleared it).

I highly recommend these, the look super cool too, cause in my opinion, prop rods aren't really show worthy.

did you get the bypass yet for the dvd palyer?

hey guys, yeah i just had it installed in miine and i love it. i've been told about the bypass but haven't done it yet. how expensive is it to get this done?
