I can't offer any technical advise, but I bought some 17 deep dish, but they came in black only...I didn't want to change out the front stock wheels for street use, so I had the rear ones painted to match the front.

To the thread starter. I have the pony package aluminum billets. What I did is that I took them to a body shop, had the brake calipers painted red (my stang is torch red), and I had the spokes on the billets painted black, with a clearcoat. The lip remained aluminum with the factory clearcoat.
In any case, I will post pics when I get a chance, just remind me - but it came out awesome. I get compliments all the time.
Each rim cost 60 bucks, and each caliper 15 bucks. In total, 300 bucks for the job - not too bad.
