So I just installed my Flowmaster American Thunder muffler, wow! When you turn the key and it fires up it has a real nice deep growl. While at idle it is barely louder than stock but right when you give it a little in 1st you hear it bark to life. I expect that as they break in they will quiet down a bit at cruising speeds, but right now they are loud and deep, awesome. As for the install.... I know a lot of people have said it is a 15-20 minute job, but maybe they have a much larger variety of tools and way smaller hands and wrists because I had a bitch of a time getting a couple of the bolts on the hangers to come off, way easier to put back on.
