have you ever changed some of teh internals to make it handle all that **** load of power.
He hasn't done anything to the internals yet. The motor is just that strong....it can take it but I think Buck is waiting for something to go wrong.

The only engine work at this point that I have done is to have the valve springs shimmed. It allows for the car to continue to make power up in the powerband. Really noticeable on the last leg of the 1/4 mile run.
I am waiting for winter to go with a built shortblock, so will consider it a success if I can run the rest of this season at this level on stock block.
