Default Whatever happened with turbonetics?

I remember someone a few months ago posted that turbonetics said they would make a kit for us if there was enough interest and like 40 people replied....then we never heard about it again. Who was that, and what happened with them?

has it really been a couple of months???? Hmmm... seems like just the other day... Even if it has been a couple of months, i would expect it to take a lot longer than 2 months! It could be they don't want to annouce a product until they have a good release date...

well im just wondering because whoever started that thread never gave us a conclusion like... " I sent the results of the poll to turbonetics, we will see what happens!" it just died off...Do any of you guys remember a LOOOONG time ago...like a year or so ago there was a company that even had a future turbo kit for the 4.0 listed, but it never happened...can't remember what company it was, but i HATE when that crap happens.

actually no... ok... just got of the phone to make sure I could share this info...

The car Ron's talking about is one of MRT's car.. (actually an employee's car) MRT is currently working up the prototype. When I seen it last Saturday, the turbo was in place, then air-to-air intercooler was in place... some of the piping... I don't look underneath to see how things under the car were coming, as far as down pipes, etc.. What I did see of it looked great! I do believe they are hoping to get the car on the dyno next week...

That being said... they are looking to have everything wrapped up and a kit available by the end of summer...

wow! that's great, thanks for the info scrming! This is what i wanted to hear when i started this thread. Finally there is gonna be some competition with powerhouse. Ha, i just emailed them about ten minutes before you posted that actually asking if they had continued with the idea of a kit for the 4.0. thanks again for the info, im excited to see how they are gonna price this. I wonder if they will be using a t3/t4 hybrid or a t4...hopefully they keep it with those so we don't get too high in price.
