Congrats but try not to be one of the ******* gt drivers that rat on sixers, and try and chang some to be nicer to us. everyone know we take a lot of crap butour cars arebeasts and can take lots of cars and are modded very easy. Here's an equation for yah-Mustang V6 $19k Mustang GT $25k
Mustang V6 +$4k supercharger =GT power at $1k less the price 1/2 the insurance and 100 lbs lighter
Would everyone PLEASE stfu about this STUPID V6 being easier to mod, faster, blah blah blah. ITS NOT THE F****ING same as a GT!

Tsk.

My V6 insurance quote came in at a whopping $17 less a month than the GT I bought. I won't touch the rest of your post. Sometimes you bring the GT vs. V6 arguments on yourself.

There are several really nice sixxers in here. Good job on your rides guys. Mustangs all come out of the same factory, regardless of displacement.

NineInchNail, that has to be some bull****[>:]! If GT's insuranse cost was only about $100's more than the V6, there would be a lot more GT's than V6's in the US! Trust me if the insurance difference was only $100's I'd be the first one at Ford's door trading in my 6 today! Don't make foolish comments to act like u made the best decision possible. You bought a 300HP 330Torque beast, and now u have to pay the monster amount of insurance for it. Understand!

Per year, my insurance company quoted me at 200 dollars more (per year) for a GT compared to my 6

Too all you sixers, I feel your pain about some of the GTs ragging , I too get alot of $h!t about price , performance and on and on about the Shelbys and now I find myself alot on different forums with Shelbys only (peace at last). But overall the GTs are pretty cool and hope they remember were all Ford. I almost bought a 07 V6 last night from the dealer to make as my D.D. but had a problem with the secureguard and shut down all the electrical so now Im waiting for their call to let me know its fixed. If I do get this car Ill hangout with you guys

Here's what you should factor in:

How old are you,
what's your credit like,
marital status,
driving history.

Me: 24 years old, credit in the 740's with paid off car and house, married, clean driving record.
GT costs me $17 more a month to insure than a V6, whether you believe it or not.
AAA insurance of Slidell, LA.
$140 a month for full coverage including 100K/200K/100K liability limits.
