Ok People!
What will the sway bars do for my ride?
Short and simply!
Thanks,
Denny

Got mine from them also but the u clamp / brackets that hold the ends on were not included, likely I got srewed, but it's too late now to do anything about it

The rear brackets are $20 each .

What brackets? When I got my GT Takeoffs (2-3 weeks ago)they came with all the bars, U clamps, bushings, links... The ONLY thing I had to purchase was the nuts and bolts for the rear, and reused the front bolts. Maybe it depends where we are getting our stuff, different supplier = different parts inluded? (mine came from NewTakeOff.com aka Diversified Marketing)

I got brackets, bushings which I opted out for the Poly versions,
and links on the 20mm GT rear take-off anti-sway bar.
eBay $35 + S/H.

Well, I am not a tech expert, but I found out from adding my sways, the car stays level at all times. When you go around a corner the car does not lean, it stays level. I had a gallon jug of water in the trunk, as a tester actually. On the way that morning to go have the bars put on, the gallon jug fell over and was rolling around the trunk. After the bars were put on, the same gallon jug of water stayed where I put it, upright and did not fall over, let alone roll around back there. My hubby followed me in his truck both times, to the shop and home, and said you could see the car tilt to the side when you round a corner, but on the way home with the bars on, it did not tilt.
Had I not got involved on theis forum, I would never thought about the rear bar. But I kept reading how everyone seemed to be doing this, and it was a mod that was affordable, so I tried it. Very glad I did!

Hey Kathy!
Thanks for the heads up. I have done some performance mods, but the handling mods are all new to me.

Do you think 200.00 for everything on the GT rear sway bar is a good price?

I got the front & rear GT takeoffs (Diversified/newtakeoffs.com on Ebay)+ shipping was $179 total, then $35 for the nuts & bolts from fordparts.com. Then I paid $70 to have them installed. So yes, I would guess $200 is about the running amount for all the parts. Not sure what others are paying, but that was my expediture.
Thanks for the compliment on the dog, she is a malamute & samoyed mix, 9 years old, 100 lbs, & very spoilt!!! The other one is a huge puppy, pyrenees & malamute, 18 months old, 110 lbs, thinks she belongs in your lap!
