GT Swaybars

RE: GT Swaybars
Ford dealers will sell you the hardware and somewhere in the "How To" section there is a list of what you need and pictures of the installation. The complete set of hardware including brackets runs about $80 so you may be better off buying a brand name swaybar that includes everything and could cost less overall..

RE: GT Swaybars
well at the moment, i'm getting them shipped to my house for 49 dollars, and the bars are 99 cents. so after hardware thats 130, which is less than having a hellwig rear swaybar shipped to my hosue discounted. Thank you for the information though, i will look for it

RE: GT Swaybars
$40 for the rear bolts and nuts- no brackets.
Go OEM hardware on the rear and you will
be thanking yourself. No hardware store zinc
plated hardware here. You need OEM to get
the proper torque specs. Wanna have one of
them non-oem bolts snap from over-torquing
them and its ditch time at high speeds. [:@]
The front uses the same brackets and hardware
but the rubber bushings are different. I would
go with ProThane bushings the first time around
as I reused the OEM rubbers and went to Poly
ProThanes and WOW what a difference.
MossMustang for cheeeep. On sale right now.
34mm GT takeoffon the front and a 20mm
GT takeoff on the rear.

The rear brackets are $20 each .
--------------------------------------------
What brackets? When I got my GT Takeoffs (2-3 weeks ago)they came with all the bars, U clamps, bushings, links... The ONLY thing I had to purchase was the nuts and bolts for the rear, and reused the front bolts. Maybe it depends where we are getting our stuff, different supplier = different parts inluded? (mine came from NewTakeOff.com aka Diversified Marketing)
