Default Warranty Question?

As u can see I'm new here and have a question I can't find the answer to. If I buy an SCTtuner and put in the 93+ octane tune, and bring my car in for work to a Ford dealership, will they reflash my computer? If not or yes, do they reflash the computer everytime the car comes in?could ford check the computer without reflashing it?and if I told them about the tuner would my warranty be voided?

Thanx ahead of Time

If you go back, put the stock tune on.

But what if I'm running 93 octane, will the engine get damaged, dirty, or screwed up from this?

Not sure, but if your planning on going in, put some regular in it, switch back to stock, then go.

Default RE: Warranty Question?

When ever you go in for work just put the stock tune back on. 93 octance will not hurt your engine with a stock tune. you can always run higher octane fuel than it says, but it is bad to run a lower octane that told, like runnin 93 on a 87 tune is ok, 87 on a 93 tune will screw ur **** up. also, even if you do flash your computer back to stock, the dealer can check and see the previous date that the computer was flashed, but not how it was changed, so if they ask you if u have a tuner, so no, and that you disconnected your battery for some reason, because that resets your computer too. and sorry about how long this is. I am just VERY bored at work. hahaha

reflash to stock yourself then disconnect/reconnect the battery to reset computer. as for the gas, that shouldn't harm your car in the short run. i think its more harmful if you filled up with a lower octane than your car required.
