Default SLP Loudmouths

Anyone tried these on the V6?

My friend's dad had them on his GT and they sounded AMAZING

I figure it may sound ricey on the V6s since we don't have that rumble.

SLPs are not mufflers, they're just pipes. If you want to get somewhat of an idea of the sound, unbolt your current muffler and go driving around.
When you first start your car, it'll sound very rumbly--just like a V8, and you'll be really impressed.
In my opinion, that good feeling is gone once you go driving. It'll sound very deep, droney and loud. The "rumble" will be gone, and replaced by a constant "nnnnnnnnnnnnnn". Once the car is warm, the idle is quiet and you'll hear air pushing out of your pipe, and it sounds like a "pff..pff..pff...pff".. not very tough at all.
I tried duals with no mufflers--just straight pipes, and nice chrome tips--the poor man's SLPs sort of-- and I was dissappointed. If it could sound like it did at idle the whole time, then I'd love it! Unfortunately, once the engine warms up.. it sounds bad.
I agree-- they sound awesome on the GTs, but the 4.0s aren't even close to that sound.[]

i have heard the dual version and i have the single it sounds good once the car is warmed up otherwise there are alot of pops. but worst part is sound is not consistent since its not a muffler its almost a guess at what it will sound like due to weather and everything. STAY AWAY!!!! trust me go with bassani or flows.

I actually have them on my car right now... they sound pretty good unless you're high up in the rpms.. but cruising around sounds awesome and so does idle, but if you plan on getting on it frequently i dont recommend it, sounds pretty stupid when youre at 5k rpms, but for someone who doesnt race much it's pretty solid
