I know that my six has about 400 lil ponies in it and I just love kickn some GT ***. Plus insurance is cheaper and gas is maybe a lil less but if I would have got a GT my insurance would be about double and I wouldn't have been able to do all the stuff I have done to it. My insurance is already 300 bucks a month. It wouldn't be a unique 6 it would just be a regular plan ol gt. I dunno I thought about getting a GT also but have already put so much into my car. If your going to get a GT do it before you start building your car cause once you do, that money is basically gone if you trade.

Really if you want power just get a z06 or just a c6 LT3 or something.

I was in the same predicament as you are about a year ago and I decided to hold on to my 6 and mod the hell out of it. Plus I too am waiting until '09 and then I will get whatI consider my ultimate stang...the Boss!

i know what you mean homeboy about just "needing" that GT but that faded away from me after i kept getting jocked for my 4.0. made me very proud of what i got so i decided to only upgrade if the target was a GT500KR.....hehehe[8D].

Maybe if I order the VMP Tune/CAI it will sway me, the ONLY, and I mean ONLY pet peeve about my auto stang sixxer is a the throttle lag and shift points. Other then that, my interior is badass, my color is badass and it would be even badder with appearance mods. Im leaning more toward keeping the 4.0, its been 2 Great years and you guys have pretty much showed me that, it aint about the Name its about you and your stang

how old are you? insurance is much higher on gt if under 25 especially..

Im 17! And before you hiss at me, I helped pay on my car ! I called about insurance on a GT for awhile ago, only $20 more a month. I have perfect driving record....knock on wood.

For me a mustang is still a mustang weither its a gt or not. The v6 is already fast and quick with how much horsepower it comes with. Its just if you are willing to put in the time, money and effort to make it much more faster. While if you go with the gt the hp will most likely be there. I would prob go with the gt though if i could get one i for sure would!

when i was 17, my poor *** was pushing an 82 datsun pickup truck with worn out clutch.....which basically means i got no chicks driving that thing...[&:]. good thing i rode shotgun most the time in my friends '69 cougar.[8D]
